Elizabeth and I would like to announce the birth of our twin daughters:
Lila Grace Sheehan was born at 4:56 PM on Feb. 27, 2009. She weighs in at a robust 3 lbs 8 ozs. She has brown hair and is currently doing excellent.
Alexis Lynn Sheehan was born at 4:58 PM on Feb. 27, 2009. She weighs in at a slightly less robust 2 lbs 11 3/4 ozs. She is a blondie and is also doing well.
Both girls scored 9 out of 10 on the post birth apgar tests, both of them are breathing well on their own and are expected to be transferred from the NeoNatal ICU to a well baby nursery later on today.
Mom is doing well in her post C-section recovery. She is experiencing alot of pain but she is being a trooper. Lila and Alexis's birth is the beginning of an unbelievable lifelong journey which we could not be more excited to begin.

It was also the greatest day a Brother and Uncle could have imagined. Love you guys and congrats. The prayers and persistence finally paid off in a way I can only hope to experience one day.
