Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I am sorry I missed my deadline but it was a crazy Sunday. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to announce the scheduled arrival time of flight 22709 from Huntington Hospital. The Dynamic Duo are scheduled to arrive at 506 Pulaski Rd. sometime between 6AM Thursday and Midnight Friday, TOGETHER!!!! Mom is busy scurrying around getting everything together for their long awaited arrival. We went to the hospital today to find our Sheehan girls in bright green hats that the Irish Ladies that volunteer at the hospital made especially for them in celebration of St. Patty's Day! I will post more pics tomorrow!

Yeah!!!!!!!!!1 When are visitors welcome?!!! I'm only around the corner so you won't be able to hold me off for too long- but I will wait until during the week so those employed people (poor things-lol) can see them on the weekend and I'll take a weekday. Can't wait to meet the girls!

This is Anita (your cousin Dan/Cuco's daughter). My mother (Charolette) forwarded me your exciting email about the new additions to your family!! I want to wish you all a Happy Healthy Wonderful Life!! I hear the girls (which by the way I Love both names) are in North Shore NICU. We also had a wonderful experience of that exact NICU in 1992. My first born spent 5 1/2 weeks there with the wonderful nursing staff. Here we are 16 years later and we still keep in touch with one of his most special nurses (only during the holidays). I had a single birth with complications...but his weight was more than double of both girls...he weighted 9lbs 13oz. Yeah he was a BIG Boy!! Mom called him "Guliver" He was like a Giant in that NICU with all those beautiful little people surrounding him. We have a long road since then with him...but he is a handsome, strong, heathly, 16 year old today. Something for you all to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteHey while you are there at NICU, if you have a chance, and if they are still up, look for a plaque that a poem/thank you to the nursing staff had been etched out by hand. It's from Joseph Daniel Melillo who resided there from October 25, 1992 till I believe his release date was December 5, 1992. I like to know if it's somewhere hanging in the unit still.
Okay I must get back to work now...shame on me for emailing during working hours!! LOL Lots of Love, Happiness, and Good Health to you all!!
Your (2nd??) Cousin,
Anita (Rubio) Melillo
